Ciprian Ciucu, the mayor of Sector 6, has submitted his candidacy for the City Hall. He was also accompanied to the Municipal Electoral Office by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.

Ciprian Ciucu, the current mayor of Sector 6 and the PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall elections on December 7, submitted his candidacy file to the Municipal Electoral Office on Thursday morning. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, the president of PNL, who supports Ciucu's candidacy, was also present at the event.

Ciprian Ciucu stated that his experience as a sector mayor will give him an advantage, claiming that he knows exactly what needs to be done to improve the city. He announced that he has plans for a period of 6 and a half years, suggesting that he will run again in 2028 if he wins the December elections. He emphasized the importance of a long-term partnership for the implementation of projects necessary for the development of the Capital. His candidacy was validated by the National Political Bureau of PNL on November 4, at the proposal of the Bucharest organization.
