On election Sunday, almost 18 million voters are expected to choose their president for the next five years from the two remaining candidates, George Simion (AUR) and Nicușor Dan (independent). Voting will take place in 18,979 polling stations, including 965 in the diaspora. Eligible voters must present a valid identity card and can vote both at home and abroad. The computerized monitoring system will ensure that voting is fair, and those who cannot vote on their own can ask for help.
