The 2025 presidential elections took place on May 4, and Romanians in the diaspora participated in significant numbers. According to the partial results from the Central Electoral Office, Nicușor Dan was voted most outside Europe, with strong support on four continents. In contrast, Simion was the top vote-getter in Europe, highlighting differences in preferences between voters in different regions.
