On Thursday, the Ministry of Education announced the approval of a new set of 320 school programs for high school education, as part of the curricular reform. This set complements the 90 programs already approved. Among the new programs are 10 for Mathematics (CS) intended for the technological track, as well as for Applied Mathematics in social sciences, architecture, Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Additionally, three programs for the study of modern languages in an intensive regime have been approved, including languages such as Chinese, English, French, and Spanish. The Ministry approved 170 programs for mandatory subjects in the specialized curriculum for the theological profile, covering all recognized denominations. Also included are 32 programs for the mother tongue and literature, as well as 105 for the vocational track, artistic profile. The Ministry emphasized that new stages will follow to ensure the completion of the necessary school programs for high school.
