Of the 6,684 candidates who took the first test in the competition for director and deputy director positions, 4,615 scored at least 6 and are advancing to the next stage, the Ministry of Education and Research announced on Tuesday. The pass rate is 69.05%, and the results were recorded before appeals were resolved.
The average score was 6.45, while the median was 6.5. The minimum passing score is 6, but it will not be included in the calculation of the final average for filling management positions in educational institutions.
The competency assessment test was held in 42 competition centers, including two in Bucharest. The test was conducted digitally on a dedicated platform, and candidates had a maximum of 60 minutes to complete the questions.
The test included 20 items, each worth 0.5 points, with four answer options. The questions were prepared by the National Center for Curriculum and Assessment and focused on hypothetical situations from school activities: seven verbal reasoning items, seven numerical reasoning items, and six logical reasoning items.
