Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan inaugurated a new kindergarten in the city of Simeria, announcing that all units completed during this period will be able to hire staff, so that they can become operational starting this autumn.
The government approved measures in May for filling positions in the new kindergartens, and the salary costs will be covered by the state budget. Bolojan emphasized the importance of these investments for supporting families with children and encouraging birth rates. The inaugurated kindergarten is part of the government program 'Saint Ana', with the capacity to accommodate up to 70 children and equipped with the necessary utilities.
This is the 73rd kindergarten completed under the program, which has benefited up to now 4,490 children. The 'Saint Ana' program aims to expand the network of kindergartens at the national level, addressing the shortage of places for preschool children in many localities.
