In an interview, the education minister highlighted the problems of the pre-university education system, including high drop-out rates and functional illiteracy, which affects hundreds of thousands of children. Daniel David proposed complex solutions, starting with the assessment of actors in research and universities to identify the most competent and provide them with support. He also emphasized the importance of preserving the mission of universities and asked for a clarification by June.
