The Baccalaureate in 2030 will undergo radical changes, according to a project launched by the Ministry of Education. It introduces new tests and increases the number of exams for graduates. A major novelty is Test F, which targets basic competencies and will be a mandatory written test. Additionally, foreign languages will have written exams for certain profiles, replacing the previous oral tests. The project, based on the Law of Pre-University Education no. 198/2023, proposes a more rigorous structure that ensures a balanced preparation between the humanities and the sciences. The exam will include competency assessment tests, common and differentiated written tests, adapted to the students' profiles. Thus, students from the humanities profile will focus on foreign languages and socio-human disciplines, while those from the science profile will also need to demonstrate humanistic knowledge. These changes aim for a stronger general culture and a more comprehensive preparation for the future.
