Transelectrica recorded a net profit of 158 million lei in the first quarter of 2025, an increase of 58% compared to the previous year, thanks to the increase in revenues from regulated tariff

CNTEE Transelectrica SA reported a net profit of 158 million lei in Q1 2025, up 58% from the same period in 2024. Operating revenues increased by RON 55 million to RON 587 million, influenced by the increase in regulated tariffs and the amount of energy priced. Operating expenses increased by 8%, with the zero-profit segment generating a positive result of RON 57 million. There was also a decrease in net domestic consumption by 0.5% and in energy production by 16%. Transelectrica ensures the safe operation of the National Electric Power System.
