The company's revenue increased by 30.3% compared to last year, reaching 989.92 billion New Taiwan dollars (33.1 billion USD), exceeding analysts' estimates. The growing demand for chips intended for artificial intelligence was a key factor in this expansion.

TSMC has revised its revenue estimates for 2025, anticipating an average growth of 30% and raised the investment cap for expanding production capacity to 40 billion dollars. The high-performance computing division generated 57% of total revenue, and advanced chips of 7 nanometers or smaller accounted for 74% of silicon wafer revenue. TSMC's shares have risen by over 38% since the beginning of the year, fueled by a wave of investments in AI technologies.
