OMV Petrom recorded a net profit of 3.4 billion lei in the first nine months, down 13% compared to last year.

The operating result was 3.8 billion lei, 20% lower, influenced by lower prices for gas, but partially compensated by higher refining margins. Organic investments increased by 28%, reaching 5.1 billion lei, mainly due to the Neptun Deep project. The contribution to the state budget was similar to that of 2024, approximately 12 billion lei.

CEO Christina Verchere highlighted the progress in developing renewable energy projects and the importance of financial discipline. Additionally, OMV Petrom continued to invest in exploration and decarbonization, with activities in Bulgaria and Romania.
