The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, announced that three electricity suppliers have reduced their rates to below 1.30 lei/kWh, the maximum capped price until July 1. This was the result of firm discussions with ANRE and the Competition Council, mentioning that one operator even offers 1 leu/kWh. Ivan emphasized the importance of supporting the economy during this difficult period and encouraged consumers to switch suppliers, having more advantageous options available online.
