BNR announces a decrease in the three-month ROBOR index to 6.57%, influencing the cost of consumer loans in lei with a variable interest rate.

The National Bank of Romania reported that the three-month ROBOR index decreased from 6.60% to 6.57%, impacting the cost of consumer loans with variable interest rates. Since the beginning of the year, the index has increased significantly, reaching 6.08% after the first round of the presidential elections. Additionally, the six-month and twelve-month ROBOR indices also recorded decreases. The IRCC, the reference index for consumer loans, remains constant at 5.55%.
