The Ministry of Finance has issued a treasury certificate, borrowing 824 million lei, with a maturity of six months and an average yield of 6.69% per year. The nominal value of the issuance was 400 million lei, and banks subscribed 1.623 billion lei. In September 2025, the Ministry of Finance intends to borrow 6.2 billion lei, with a total of 6.995 billion lei, aimed at refinancing public debt and financing the budget deficit. In comparison, the planned borrowings for August 2025 were 5.8 billion lei.
