The Ministry of Energy has requested the Government for a budget supplement of 350 million lei from the Reserve Fund, necessary for the operation of Electrocentrale Craiova. These funds are essential to prevent the interruption of heating and hot water supply for the residents of the city, as well as the technological steam for Ford Otosan. Electrocentrale Craiova, controlled by the Ministry of Energy, has recorded significant losses and has large debts, and the restructuring plan has been rejected.
