According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), electricity resources in the first ten months of 2025 reached 57.219 billion kWh, recording an increase of 2.646 billion kWh compared to the previous year. Electricity exports increased by 29.3%, reaching 11.773 billion kWh, while imports rose by 42.6%, totaling 15.434 billion kWh. Production from thermal power plants decreased by 1.8%, while that from hydroelectric plants significantly dropped by 21.7%.
In contrast, production from nuclear power plants increased by 1.6%. Final electricity consumption was 41.456 billion kWh, with an overall decrease of 0.2%, but with an increase of 1.1% among the population. Additionally, primary energy resources increased by 1,334,300 toe, while domestic production decreased by 2.7%, and imports rose by 13.3%.
