The Romanian government has adopted a decision approving the allocation of funds for the project 'Integrated Information System of the Environmental Fund Administration', with a total value of 144.8 million lei, financed from non-reimbursable external funds. The project, which will last 24 months, aims at the digital transformation of the AFM, with the goal of increasing the efficiency of the institution and better management of funds for environmental protection.

The new system will integrate the activities of the institution into a unified, modern platform that complies with European cybersecurity standards. Its implementation will reduce bureaucracy, accelerate the processing of applications, and improve the quality of decisions. Beneficiaries will have digital access to information and services, and the integrated data will allow for the construction of efficient environmental programs with measurable results.
