The Romanian Competition Council has authorized the transaction through which Carrier Global Corporation will acquire several companies and assets in Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Austria. This includes AHI Carrier Romania SRL and other entities from the group. The authority concluded that the operation will not negatively affect competition in the market and is compatible with a normal competitive environment. Carrier Global specializes in climate and energy solutions, including HVAC systems. The decision will be published on the Council's website after the removal of confidential information.
