Vasil Velev, the president of the Industrial Capital Association of Bulgaria (AICB), has raised an alarm regarding the state of public finances in the country, stating that the real budget deficit exceeds 8% of GDP. In an interview with public television, the expert emphasized that without rapid corrective measures, Bulgaria's economy is heading towards a deep budget crisis.

Velev highlighted the need for structural reforms and more efficient management of financial resources to avoid a deterioration of the economic situation. This warning comes in a context where the financial stability of the country is essential for long-term economic development.
