The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's session up, with the main BET index rising by 1.36%, reaching 34,216.98 points. The total value of transactions was 359.3 million lei (approximately 68.56 million euros). The BET-Plus index increased by 1.38%, while the BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a gain of 1.29%. Additionally, the BET-FI index, which reflects the performance of SIFs, rose by 0.81%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, Romgaz, and OMV Petrom.
The largest increases were observed in the stocks of Șantierul Naval Orșova (+14.89%), Bucharest Stock Exchange (+9.04%), and SIF Hoteluri (+8.77%).
In contrast, the stocks of Roca Industry Holdingrock1, Sphera Franchise Group, and Sinteza recorded the largest declines.
