The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday’s session higher across all indices, in a session during which the total value of trades reached 348.77 million lei, equivalent to 66.25 million euros.
The benchmark BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most traded companies on the Regulated Market, advanced 2.20% to 32,757.81 points. BET-Plus, the index of the 43 most liquid stocks, rose 2.21%, while BET-XT, which includes 25 stocks, posted a 1.95% gain.
Gains were also reported for BET-FI, up 0.53%, BET-BK, up 1.29%, and BET-NG, the index of energy and utilities companies, up 2.13%. The BET AeRO index rose 0.64%.
On the Regulated Market, the largest trading turnovers were recorded by Cris-Tim Family Holding, at 68.17 million lei, Banca Transilvania, at 66.49 million lei, and Hidroelectrica, at 53.41 million lei.
The strongest gains were recorded by Electrica, Sinteza and Rompetrol Rafinare, while One United Properties, Transgaz and Sphera Franchise Group posted the largest declines.
