The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, recorded a depreciation of 2.24%, reaching 22,619.07 points. Additionally, BET-Plus closed down by 2.2%, while the BET-BK index, a benchmark for investment funds, decreased by 2.32%. The BET-NG index, which reflects the performance of energy companies, had a decline of 2.45%. The BET-XT index, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 2.25%, and BET-FI, the SIF index, closed down by 2%.
The most liquid shares were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions of 19.61 million lei, followed by Banca Transilvania and Transgaz. In contrast, the shares of Armătura, Prefab, and Vrancart had the best performances, while UAMT, Societatea de Construcții Napoca, and COMCM Constanța recorded the largest declines.
