The Bucharest Stock Exchange gained 21.47 billion lei in capitalization, reaching 642.19 billion lei, while transactions with shares decreased by almost 25.9 million lei.

During the period of June 15 - 19, 2026, the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) recorded a capitalization increase of 3.45%, adding 21.47 billion lei, reaching 642.19 billion lei. However, the value of transactions with shares decreased, generating a turnover of 401.27 million lei, compared to 427.17 million lei in the previous week.

The most active trading day was Tuesday, June 16, with exchanges of 125.12 million lei, while the weakest was Thursday, June 18, with 49.91 million lei. The BET index closed the week at 30,693.83 points, reaching a historic high. The shares of Banca Transilvania were the most liquid, but they decreased by 4.52%.

The largest increases were recorded by the shares of Altur (+14.75%) and Digi Communications (+10.68%), while Green Tech International had the largest decrease (-11.76%).
