The price of Bitcoin dropped on Thursday, reaching $63,864.17, close to the $60,000 threshold, the lowest level since October 2024. This decline is attributed to the loss of Bitcoin's attractiveness compared to the growth potential of technology companies, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. Analysts at ByteTree emphasize that Bitcoin is perceived as a "loser" in the AI revolution, with capital being redirected towards investments in semiconductor companies. Additionally, the sale of 32 bitcoins by the company Strategy affected investor confidence, and rising inflation and expectations regarding interest rate hikes in the US made the dollar and bonds more attractive. This situation led to a decrease of approximately 13% in Bitcoin's price over the last week.
