Despite economic and political challenges, the art market in Romania had a successful year, with total sales of 15.63 million euros, the highest level in Artmark's history. Auction sales increased by 8.2%, and contemporary art gained popularity, representing 37.8% of total sales. Additionally, there was an observed increase in interest for female artists, and the auction success rate remained stable at 73%. These results highlight the attractiveness of the Romanian art market as an investment.
