BNR: The ROBOR index remains constant at 6.54%

The National Bank of Romania (BNR) announces that the ROBOR index for 3 months has stagnated at 6.54%. The 3-month ROBOR index is the one used to calculate interest rates for most loans in lei, including for personal loans granted before 2019.

The reference index for consumer loans (IRCC) will be 5.55% during the period from July 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025. The IRCC will then increase to 6.07%.
