Tesla's share price fell 8% after Elon Musk announced the creation of his own political party, 'America's Party'. Investors fear his involvement in politics will negatively affect the company. Musk recently criticized President Biden's budget and launched a poll on his social network, in which 65% of voters supported the idea of a new party. Since its December peak, the share price has fallen nearly 40%, and Donald Trump has derided Musk's initiative.
