The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) has issued a warning for Romanian citizens located on the West Coast of the USA, where authorities have declared a state of emergency in California. Approximately 40,000 people have been evacuated from the city of Garden Grove due to the risk of explosion of a tank containing toxic chemical substances. The MAE specified the affected perimeter, which includes tourist areas such as Disneyland. Romanian citizens are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities and to use the 'Travel Informed' app for useful information. Evacuation centers have been established in several locations, and Romanians can contact the Consulate General of Romania in Los Angeles for assistance. In case of emergency, it is recommended to call 911.
