Gabriela Nistor, representative of Salt Bank, announced that the bank has reached 700,000 clients and expects to reach one million sooner than initially planned, possibly in the spring of next year. The increase in the number of clients is different compared to traditional banks, having a wave-like dynamic, which requires careful management of client activity. As for the mortgage lending activity, it could start in 2027.

So far, Salt Bank has granted 10,000 personal loans, with an average value of 35,000 lei, and has attracted deposits of approximately 2 billion lei. Salt Bank, owned by the Financial Group Banca Transilvania, was launched on April 4, 2024.
