In the first semester of 2025, Romania's GDP was estimated at 931,878.6 million lei, with a real growth of 1.4% compared to the first semester of 2024. Construction (+0.3%) and information and communications (+0.1%) had positive contributions, while industry (-0.3%) and commerce (-0.1%) reduced growth. Household spending increased by 1.4%, but public administration consumption decreased, affecting GDP. Net exports had a negative contribution due to the increase in imports.
