The reasons for high prices include low wind power production, the Austria-Hungary interconnection used to its maximum, the planned overhaul of Nuclearelectrica and others. The Energy Minister stressed the importance of accelerated investments in renewable energy and in increasing interconnection capacity between Romania and neighboring countries.
