Pfizer has announced a revised profit estimate for 2025, underpinned by a cost-cutting program, amid falling COVID product revenues and patent expirations. Shares rose 3.7% after the company reported a better-than-expected quarterly profit. However, Pfizer remains cautious, maintaining annual sales forecasts of between $61 billion and $64 billion, due to pandemic uncertainties and political pressure to cut drug prices.
