Nuclearelectrica, Romania's largest nuclear power producer, expects a net profit of RON2.06 billion for 2025, up 21% from 2024, according to Swiss Capital estimates. Electricity sales could reach RON5.41 billion, rising 17% annually, supported by an increase in the average realized price. Operating expenses are forecast at RON3.476 billion, with a significant impact from the solidarity tax. In the first half of 2025, Nuclearelectrica reported a net profit of RON 867 million, up 3% year-on-year, due to higher sales revenues and changes in the sales structure.
