The proposal for a new General Urban Plan (PUG) for Bucharest will be finalized at the end of the year or early 2025, after which it will be submitted to more than 40 institutions for their opinion and then to the General Council of Bucharest for a vote. Mayor Nicușor Dan emphasized that the new PUG will bring several novelties, such as a ban on the construction of blocks of flats in the middle of a field.
