The National Bank of Romania published the exchange rate for July 1, 2025, showing a slight appreciation of the Romanian leu against the euro, quoted at 5.0772 lei. The US dollar and the pound sterling depreciated, reaching RON 4.2958 and RON 5.9171, respectively. In contrast, the Swiss franc rose to 5.4517 lei and the gold gram became more expensive, valued at 462.1098 lei. The IMF unit of account fell to RON 5.9237.
