On August 6, 2025, the National Bank of Romania reported declines for the main currencies, with the euro quoted at RON 5.0747, the dollar at RON 4.3796, the pound sterling at RON 5.8243 and the Swiss franc at RON 5.4197. The gold gram also fell to 473.1906 lei. This downward trend continues after a week of fluctuations in currencies, with the NBR updating the exchange rate daily at 13:00.
