Microsoft has unveiled an investment plan worth 23 billion dollars in the field of artificial intelligence, with a major focus on India, where it will allocate 17.5 billion dollars. This represents the company's largest investment in Asia and adds to a previous commitment of 3 billion dollars. The investments are planned for the period 2026-2030 and aim to develop an extensive cloud computing infrastructure in India, a rapidly expanding digital market. Satya Nadella, Microsoft's CEO, emphasized that these expenditures will contribute to building the skills and capabilities necessary for the future of artificial intelligence in India. His visit to India includes conferences dedicated to AI in cities such as New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. This move comes in the context where other tech companies, such as Google, are massively investing in AI infrastructure in India.
