Stephan Winkelmann, the CEO of Lamborghini, announced that the company's decision to abandon fully electric models and focus on plug-in hybrid vehicles was correct, considering the negative reactions to the launch of the first electric Ferrari, Luce.

He mentioned that Lamborghini decided to abandon electric projects, including Lanzador and an electric version of the Urus SUV, due to weak demand among customers. Winkelmann emphasized the importance of innovation but stated that it should not be imposed on consumers. Additionally, Lamborghini, part of the Volkswagen group, joins other automakers that have reduced investments in electric vehicles due to low demand.

In contrast, Ferrari's shares have significantly dropped after the launch of the Luce model, which was criticized for its unusual design, generating negative reactions from investors and prominent figures in the industry.
