In an intervention on Antena 3 CNN, the Minister of Finance, Nazare, stated that tax increases for adjusting the deficit have not been discussed, contrary to information in the public space. He mentioned that recent discussions with European counterparts focused on managing the fiscal situation, without providing guarantees regarding future tax increases. Nazare emphasized the importance of the budget rectification, which will be a responsible recalibration aimed at returning to the fiscal trajectory established until 2026.
