Expedia and Lastminute.com have agreed to reimburse consumers for canceled flights within 14 days and clarify their rights.

Following discussions with the European Commission, Expedia and Lastminute.com have signed commitments to improve consumer protection. They will refund tickets within 14 days in case of flight cancellations and provide clear information about consumer rights. Contact details will also be more accessible and package benefits will be clearly explained. Lastminute.com will implement these measures by 2025 and the European Consumer Network will monitor compliance.
