The euro was valued at 5.0263 lei, falling for the second day in a row, while the Swiss franc and the pound sterling depreciated to 5.3505 lei and 5.8911 lei, respectively. The US dollar rose slightly to 4.3478 lei. The gold price fell by less than 4 lei to 472.9534 lei. The IMF unit of account rose slightly to 5.9379 lei. The rates are calculated by the NBR on the basis of quotes from authorized banks.
