ENEVO Group has announced a new energy storage project in Drăgănești-Olt, Romania, with a nominal discharge power of 110 MW and a capacity of 220 MWh. Construction work is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026, and commercial operation is planned for early 2027. The project will strengthen ENEVO Group's position as an EPC partner in the field of energy storage systems, adding to a portfolio that exceeds 1 GWh.
Ben Salm-Reifferscheidt, Managing Director of Kraftfeld, emphasized the importance of solid partnerships for the realization of large-scale projects, while Eduard Meiloiu, VP Renewables at ENEVO Group, highlighted the necessity of energy storage for a resilient energy system. ENEVO Group collaborates with developers and investors to accelerate the implementation of sustainable energy infrastructure, while Kraftfeld focuses on photovoltaic projects and energy storage systems in Central and Eastern Europe.
