Electrica has announced the completion of the competitive procedure for selecting an EPC Contractor and signing a contract with Foton Power Energy S.R.L. for the photovoltaic project 'Bihor 1'. This project, located in the communes of Cefa and Mădăraș in Bihor County, will include the implementation of a photovoltaic park with an installed capacity of approximately 78.8 MWp, a 110 kV electrical transformation station, and an energy storage system with a capacity of 18 MWh. The total value of the contract amounts to approximately 36.6 million Euros (excluding VAT) and includes the operation and maintenance of the equipment for 3 years. The next step is to start construction, and Electrica estimates the completion of the project according to the established schedule.
