The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved a €90 million loan to Engie Romania to support the expansion of its renewable energy production capacity. The funding will enable the company to develop projects with a total capacity of at least 250 MW by 2028. Engie Romania, part of the multinational group Engie, has invested significantly in Romania, playing a major role in natural gas distribution and green energy production.
