In Romania's major cities, demand for rental housing is still high and rental prices have increased significantly compared to last year. In Bucharest, for example, the average rent for a studio apartment has reached €340 a month, while 2-bedroom apartments are renting for €520 a month and 3-bedroom apartments for €700 a month. The trend is similar in other big cities like Cluj-Napoca, Brasov, Constanța, Iași and Timisoara.
