Constanța Port Business Association (CPBA) has entered the competition for a seat on the Board of Administration of the Port of Constanța, bringing expertise from the private sector.

The Constanța Port Business Association (CPBA) has decided to participate in the competition organized by the Ministry of Transport for a position on the Board of Administration of the Port of Constanța. The president of CPBA, Viorel Panait, emphasized the importance of expertise from the private sector to ensure the competitiveness of state companies. CPBA brings together 19 port terminals, 12 transport service providers, large traders, and multinational companies, with a turnover of 8.45 billion lei and a cargo volume of 63.2 million tons. Panait expressed confidence that the association's expertise will contribute to the development of the Port of Constanța, considered a strategic point. CPBA has submitted all necessary documents and participated in interviews, and Panait is optimistic about the chances of obtaining a position on the Board of Administration, highlighting the skills and knowledge that the association can offer.
