The Romanian Post has signed a contract estimated at 19.98 million lei, but concluded for the amount of 10.76 million lei, excluding VAT, for the acquisition of banking services. These services aim to mediate online sales, collect subscriptions, and make payments for government bonds intended for the population, within the Treasury Program. The contract will be carried out over a period of 9 months, awarded through an open auction, based on the best quality-price ratio criterion. The Romanian Post, a national postal service operator, is majority-owned by the Romanian state and has an extensive network of over 5,000 postal subunits. CEC Bank, with a tradition of over 150 years, will collaborate on this project, having the most extensive national branch network.
