The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) had a meeting on Wednesday with representatives of the PSD, during which it proposed that negotiations for a new coalition lead to the creation of a new government program. BNS believes that the current program has not brought benefits to the economy, except for a reduction in the budget deficit by 0.8%.
All social-democratic ministers participated in the discussions, expressing the desire to continue previous projects in a new political framework. BNS emphasized the need for clear priorities in the new program, including energy, agriculture, the food industry, and defense.
Solutions for state-owned companies in difficulty and proposals for the new framework law regarding the remuneration of budget personnel were also discussed. BNS requested consultations with employers and proposed the establishment of a 'help desk' to support human resources directors. In the context of the governmental crisis, the PSD leader also held meetings with other unions and employer associations.
