The American dollar and the Swiss franc appreciated to 4.3460 lei and 5.4363 lei, respectively, while the British pound decreased to 5.8068 lei. Gold increased by almost 2 lei, being valued at 524.0023 lei per gram. The rates are calculated based on the quotations of authorized banks, without imposing their use in transactions.
