Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR) launched today, December 23, a new issue of eurobonds worth 500 million euros on the Regulated Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), under the symbol BCR31E. This is the second bond issue of BCR this year and the 12th in total. The bonds have a maturity of 6 years, with a fixed interest rate of 4.00% p.a. for the first 5 years, and in the last year, the interest will be calculated as Euribor 3M + 1.65% p.a.

BCR emphasizes the importance of the capital market in its funding strategy, having a total amount of over 12 billion lei raised through bond issues in recent years. The CEO of BVB, Remus Vulpescu, highlighted the success of the issue as proof of the confidence of international investors. Sergiu Manea, CEO of BCR, mentioned that the listing of the bonds facilitates local investors' access to euro-denominated instruments and supports the development of the Romanian economy. BCR continues to be an active issuer in the capital markets, thus strengthening its position.
